CHENEY, Wash. - As part of its plan to better serve all students, Eastern Washington University will move its inventory from its bookstore in the Schade Tower on the Riverpoint Campus to the University Bookstore on the main campus in Cheney.
The last day of business for the Riverpoint store will be Friday, Oct. 26. Until then, it will be open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Fridays 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
This consolidation of services reflects the continued popularity of the University Bookstore and enhanced online services. It also allows Eastern to efficiently manage its resources.
"We have enjoyed serving the students, staff and Spokane community through our Schade store," said University Bookstore Director Bob Anderson. "We look forward to the opportunity to provide our full-range of products and services to the Spokane market through our Cheney store and our website."
Anderson reminds EWU students, faculty and staff at Riverpoint they will continue to be served by the University Bookstore. Anyone with questions regarding textbook ordering, rentals and buyback can call the bookstore at 509.359.4728 or email pambrosi@ewu.edu.
