ENMU Hosting Computer Programming Contest

PORTALES – The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Eastern New Mexico University is hosting the 2013 Computer Programming Contest from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 30, in Room 107 of the University Computer Center on the Portales campus.

The Division I Contest is open to high school and college students who have completed no more than two semesters of programming classes at ENMU.

The Division II Contest is open to all other ENMU students.

The programming environment will include Python or Java running on Students Learning System (Linux server) or on windows using NetBeans or IDLE.

Contestants may bring laptops and books, but cannot use pre-prepared programs, and cannot access the Internet.

Rules will be emailed to all pre-registered contestants in March.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded.

To pre-register, email your full name (with ENMU ID and major if an ENMU student) and contest division by March 22 to Sunny Choi at sunny.choi@enmu.edu.
