Prof Delivers Key Report

CHENEY, Wash. - Eastern Washington University Economics Professor Grant Forsyth once again was a featured speaker at the 14th Annual Economic Forecast, presented by Greater Spokane Incorporated (GSI) in partnership with the Journal of Business.

Forsyth was one of two experts who shared his views on the economic road ahead for Spokane and Kootenai counties. This was the ninth straight year he has provided his insights at the economic forecast.

Forsyth relies on his in-depth analysis of various community indicators to provides insights on employment and income growth, home prices and taxable sales growth.

In his presentation, he focused on the regional labor market and what the new academic literature is saying about the national labor market following the "Great Recession."
